The aim of the project is to ensure the establishment in Predești commune, Dolj county of a local center of support and civic action, which will be active in the field of protection of women’s rights, gender equality, concretely contributing to the local development of a socially involved NGO environment, and at the same time will contribute to increasing the capacity of local women, victims of gender violence, to manage the risk situations they face as a result of the positive effects of the project activities.

The Development and Action Psychotherapy Association implemented 1958 questionnaires in the 8 communities of Dolj County, respectively Predești, Breasta, Milovan, Belot, Bascov, Sopot, Brabova, Pleșoi. We collaborated with the municipalities of the 8 communities and with the Social Assistance, so that we can reach the people in the community and have an impact towards them. Each of the 8 communities were open to collaboration, thus having results that would help us move forward with the implementation of the project and come to the aid of the communities.

The participants in the questionnaire were on several age categories, so we had a significant number of each.

1871 of them had a favorable attitude towards human rights, of which 1209 were women and 634 men.

The questionnaire was conducted in order to get to know better the communities in which we will work and also to see their views on human rights.

The main beneficiaries will be 65 locals, victims of gender violence, will benefit for 18 months from psychological counseling services in order to acquire behavioral skills that will give them the courage to report cases of violence and take action against abuse. to which they are subjected.
